Using the Sight Reader
The Classroom Guitar sight reader is uniquely designed to be completely guitaristic, with each level following the Shearer method's developing sequence.
When students see this icon in their books, they should go to their online supplement and select the corresponding sight-reading level.
Students then choose either practice or challenge modes.
Practice allows students to hear both a "tic" and guitar audio as they play, and provides score keeping info afterwards. Challenge functions similarly (though without audio playback) and records the student performance, then provides email sharing with you for grade assessment.
Grade Assessment
For grrade assessment, simply have your students click "Share" after their reading and then email you their downloaded files (an audio and image of their performed melody).
